Occasionally you’ll have a client who simply cannot wear acrylic. Or due to chemical changes in the body, someone who formerly used to wear acrylic begins to experience difficulty. That’s when Forté Gel becomes the preferred product because its transversal ( you can use it directly over the surmanti Acrylic and vice versa ) if a client experiences difficulty with either product you can quickly and easily change with out removing the previous product.

Acrylic and gel nails both have very similar ingredients but have very different characteristics, for example Gel is a premixed self leveling product with a honey like texture including the stickiness. Every layer cures under ultra violet light, setting it and making it hard. Gel is extremely natural looking, resistant to all chemicals (nothing will penetrate it) and when applied correctly won’t lift. It’s great for clients like health professionals, florists and hair dressers who’s hands are always in water. One of the biggest benefits being that Gel has NO ODOUR…NO SMELL at all. It’s for this reason that beauty therapists tend to favour gel. It’s also incredibly easy to apply and to file. It’s ideally suited for placing over natural nails as a coating, either as the French look or the popular Permanent Colour, to add strength and mirror like shine to both fingers and toes.
