| Acrylic nails are the most popular nails worldwide and for good reason they are the strongest most robust nail enhancement you’ll find. They are the biggest money makers in your business and when done correctly they are incredibly strong, you can wear them any length, any shape and any colour. The other benefit of acrylic is NO matter what type of nail your client has you can correct the look and make their nails look beautiful, even a nail biter can leave feeling glamorous. Once you’ve mastered the art of acrylic it’s an easy transition into gel nails. |

| Acrylic and gel nails both have very similar ingredients but have very different characteristics, for example Gel is a premixed self leveling product with a honey-like texture including the stickiness. Every layer cures under ultra violet light, setting it and making it hard. Gel is extremely natural looking, resistant to all chemicals (nothing will penetrate) and when applied correctly won’t lift. It’s great for clients like health professionals, florists and hair dressers who’s hands are always in water. One of the biggest benefits being that Gel has NO ODOUR…NO SMELL at all. It’s for this reason that beauty therapists tend to favor gel. It’s also incredibly easy to apply and to file. It’s ideally suited to placing over natural nails as a coating either as the French look or the popular Permanent Colour to add strength and mirror like shine to both fingers and toes. |
